At our local indoor grow house in Algiers, Southern City Farm grows microgreens, shoots, herbs, and edible flowers for chefs and restaurants around New Orleans.

We grow on just over an acre in lower-coast Algiers, New Orleans, offering microgreens, edible flowers, and herbs. We pride ourselves in providing our community and our clients with garden edibles of the highest quality that meet the strictest food safety guidelines.
Our farm provides organic produce for many customers with wholesale needs, from local chefs to restaurants, markets, and homeowners.
We offer farm-to-market and farm-to-home delivery services to the city and other surrounding areas.

Everybody in our organization from our farmers to our customer representatives will tell you that our priority is to always provide our clients with fresh and flavorful produce. We make every attempt to harvest our produce on the day of delivery, guaranteeing that our produce hasn’t been on the shelf for longer than 7 days at the most. All the products we deliver are guaranteed fresh and flavorful, always.
Microgreens & Shoots
Microgreens are the first stages of greens, vegetables, and herbs. We grow our micro-greens in a 1-3 week period in a climate controlled facility. Harvesting at such an early stage guarantees your produce is packed with flavor and nutrition.
